When we launched our crowdfunding campaign in 2022, it wasn’t about “help us or else.” It was about building with our people so we could grow on our terms and keep delivering the quality you love.

Why we chose crowdfunding (and still tell this story)

• Scale without compromise. Upgrading equipment, processes, and staffing lets us make more treats while keeping SRVB flavor and quality.
• Upfront costs are real. Ingredients, packaging, and national MOQs require cash before a single donut ships. Crowdfunding helped bridge that gap.
• A better unboxing. Individually wrapped treats, sturdier packing, and cold-chain improvements mean bakery-fresh arrivals, coast to coast.
• Customer-funded > gate-kept. As a small, Black-owned business, we’ve chosen community support so growth stays aligned with our values.
