Refund policy

We ship fresh, perishable food. Because of this, we do not accept returns and we do not give refunds unless there is a real shipping problem (loss, damage, or it did not arrive).

Your order is protected
Every e-commerce order is covered for loss, damage, or theft in transit.

If your package is damaged
Email CustomerService@SouthernRootsVegan.com within 24 hours of delivery.
Include:
Order number and the name on the order
Clear photos of the shipping box and the damaged items
We will file a claim. Once approved, we will send a replacement or refund your original payment.

If your package is lost or stolen
Email CustomerService@SouthernRootsVegan.com as soon as you notice.
Share your order number and shipping address. We’ll file a claim and help with a replacement or refund when approved.

Taste or preference issues
If there is no shipping problem (not damaged, not lost, not late), we don’t give refunds. We may offer a store credit (gift card) in some cases.

Why we handle it this way
We bake fresh and ship food that can’t be resold. Thank you for understanding.

How we pack
Naked cakes: packed in an insulated cooler with dry ice.
Cookies & donuts: individually wrapped for freshness. They do not need ice packs and arrive ready to eat.
