Why are they called “Volcano Cakes”?

Great question! We call them “Volcano Cakes” because they’re erupting with flavor! These jumbo cupcakes have a frosting core—rich, indulgent, and insanely delicious.

How big is a Volcano Cake?

They’re jumbo-sized, about 3.5-4 inches across — bigger than your standard cupcake.

Do I need to keep them refrigerated?

If you’re not devouring them immediately (hard to resist!), yes, keep them in the fridge. At room temperature, they’ll remain good for about a day (since the filling is creamy, we prefer not to leave them out longer than ~6-8 hours). In the refrigerator, they stay fresh for about 5 days. For longer storage, you can freeze them for up to 3 weeks. Just thaw in the fridge overnight or on the counter for an hour when you’re ready to indulge. Many customers actually enjoy them slightly chilled, as the texture of the frosting is firmer and almost like ice cream.

Do you have gluten-free options?

We’re always testing gluten-free recipes, but we won’t release them until they’re up to our high SRVB standards. They’re in development — no launch date yet.

Are the Volcano Cakes frosted on top?

For San Antonio local delivery, yes — they’re frosted on top and filled in the center.
