From the moment I went to the Southern Roots
website and saw photos of all of the delicious looking baked cakes, muffins, donuts and more, I couldn’t wait to place an order! I got several of each and shared them with the people in my office. They didn’t believe me when I said they were Vegan! They were loved by all! Go to their website and click on what you won’t be able to help getting!

Desserts always are delicious and scheduling delivery is convenient. I loved the volcano cakes, and wish there was some way for them to come back-though I realize the name might have confused some people. Maybe they could be called loaded cupcakes

I loved experiencing Southern Roots Vegan Bakery's delicious vegan desserts! Their Red Velvet Cake Donut is rich, soft, and melts in your mouth with a vanilla glaze. The Vanilla Original Glaze Vegan Donut taste like a Krispy Kreme and honey bun made a baby—fluffy, light, and perfectly sweet. And their Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies are so tasty— the cookies are thick, crunchy, and loaded with chocolate.

Wow, these were so delicious! We tried the red velvet and lemon donuts plus the chocolate chip cookies. All were wonderful but our favorite was definitely the lemon donuts. The order also arrived on time as selected during check out (it was a local order so able to select date and time). I definitely recommend these and can’t wait to try more goodies from here!

I gift the Volcano Cakes for literally almost every occasion. There’s a great mix of flavors, and they’re such a fun and unique dessert to give. I love that they’re vegan and allergy-friendly too, makes it so much easier when I’m not sure about someone’s dietary restrictions. I just sent some to friends in San Antonio, and the free delivery was super easy to set up. Everything showed up on time and in perfect condition!

We ordered this custom dairy-free cake for my great-uncle’s 98th birthday party in San Antonio, and it was absolutely perfect! He has a severe dairy allergy, so finding something delicious and safe for his allergy can be pretty difficult, but Southern Roots made it a breeze! The cake was so good, no one could believe it was dairy-free and EVERYONE wanted seconds. They also delivered this cake right on schedule, making party planning so much easier. His birthday party was such a blast, and we’ll definitely be getting cakes from Southern Roots for all of our future events 😄

Southern Roots Vegan Bakery provided cookies for our staff meeting. The team absolutely loved the treats! Some of the comments they had about the cookies were: They were yummy! You would not know they were vegan if you were not told in advance.

My husband and I decided to go to San Antonio last minute. When I googled vegan, this popped up and I’m so glad it did! My review includes the customer service, communication as well as the taste. If I could give 10 stars I would. The lemon donut reminds me of my childhood- I’ve been searching for THAT taste with every lemon dessert I have but could never find it until now. I was immediately transported to my first memory of having a lemon dessert. My only regret is that we didn’t order more!

What a gem! Needed dairy-free bakery treats to send to my son in San Antonio for his birthday. Ordered the Sweet Start Bundle online, chose his favorite flavors of doughnuts and cookies, so easy to order on their site. The owner and her husband delivered this surprise and my son was delighted with the couple and the treats! Thanks for making someone with a bad dairy allergy (and his mom) very happy!
