Our Gluten-Free Donuts are BACK!

Gluten-Free Update at SRVB: What’s Next + Helpful GF Tips

Gluten-Free at Southern Roots: An Update
Right now, we’re pausing our gluten-free donuts as we continue testing. If (and only when) a recipe meets our “tastes-like-the-real-thing” standard, we’ll bring it back. In the meantime, here are quick tips to help you or a loved one eat gluten-free with confidence.

Gluten-Free 101: a quick checklist

  • Naturally GF staples: veggies, fruit, beans, nuts & seeds, potatoes, rice, corn, quinoa, buckwheat.
  • Label traps to double-check: sauces, dressings, gravies, licorice, spice blends, malt, barley enzymes. Always read the ingredient label.
  • Oats: choose certified gluten-free oats to avoid cross-contact.
  • “Wheat-free” ≠ gluten-free: products can still contain barley or rye.

Our allergen note
Southern Roots Vegan Bakery is not a gluten-free facility. If you have celiac disease or a severe gluten allergy, we recommend using products made in dedicated gluten-free kitchens.
