How can I place an order for local pickup or delivery in San Antonio?

We are excited to offer free local delivery in San Antonio, TX, for addresses within a 30-mile radius! 🛵 Just choose "Local Delivery" at checkout, and we’ll bring your treats straight to your door. We deliver Monday through Saturday, from 10:30 AM to 6 PM, with a 24-hour notice. Need your treats for a specific day? No problem! Just schedule your delivery when placing your order. 🚚

Southern Roots Vegan Bakery is online-only so we don't have a pickup location, but you can also find our vegan cake donuts at Cajun Coffee Shop and Sprouts Farmers Markets. For corporate gifting and wholesale options in San Antonio. Email us at info@southernrootsvegan.com for details.

What is your Refund/Return policy?

All shipped orders and gift card purchases are final. However, if there's an issue, contact us within 24 hours at CustomerService@SouthernRootsVegan.com. Orders with Route shipping protection are covered for loss, damage, or theft. Local pickup orders not claimed within 48 hours of the scheduled time will be canceled without a refund.

Can I see your products at local events?

Currently, Southern Roots Vegan Bakery operates online only. However, you can find our popular vegan cake donuts—available in Vanilla, Lemon, and Red Velvet—at Sprouts Farmers Markets across Texas and California! Visit your local Sprouts to enjoy our delicious plant-based treats.

How should I store your vegan desserts?

Our donuts and cookies stay fresh for up to 7 days when kept unrefrigerated in their original packaging. For longer storage, our cookies can be frozen for up to 3 months. To maintain freshness, be sure to store them properly after opening.

What if My Order Arrives Damaged?

If your order has arrived to you damaged, please take photos of the item and the packaging it arrived in to include in your claim when filing.

Orders
Where is My Order?

Once your order has been fulfilled by our team, a shipping confirmation with a tracking number will be emailed. You can download  Route’s mobile app for iOS or Android to visually track your package and receive real-time notifications on its estimated delivery.

When will my order be shipped?

We process and dispatch orders within 5-7 business days. Confirmations and tracking info will be emailed to you.

Can I customize my order or apply promo codes post-purchase?

We currently do not accept post-purchase customizations or the application of promo codes. To ensure you don’t miss out on special offers, stay tuned to our emails for upcoming promotions and discounts.

Do you offer nut-free or gluten-free desserts?

All of our desserts are nut-free; however, they are not produced in a nut-free environment. Please be aware of this if you have severe allergies. At this time, we do not offer any gluten-free items.

What if My Order Never Arrives or is Stolen?

If your order has not arrived, please file a claim with Route here

How Do I File a Claim for my Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Order?

You can file a shipping issue on Route’s app or via the web here. To file a claim, you will need your store order number OR Route ID number and the email address that was attached to the order.

When Should I File a Claim?

Marked As Delivered (Stolen)

  • Claims will be reviewed no earlier than 5 calendar days and no later than 30 calendar days from when it was marked delivered.
  • In some cases, the Route Support team may require a police report before moving forward with an order issue.

Stuck In Transit (Lost)

  • For domestic orders, claims will be reviewed no earlier than 2 calendar days and no later than 30 calendar days from the last update. The maximum filing time is 365 days from the order date. 
  • For international orders, claims will be reviewed no earlier than 20 calendar days and no later than 30 calendar days from the last update. The maximum filing time is 365 days from the order date.

Damaged

  • Claims for damaged items require photos of the packaging and item(s) and must be filed no later than 30 calendar days from when it was marked delivered.
Nationwide Shipping
Do you offer free shipping or promotions?

Yes! All of our orders currently ship free nationwide. However, please note that for corporate gifting packages, shipping may or may not be included—it’s determined on a case-by-case basis. Be sure to check with us when placing a corporate order.

How Does Route Work?

If your order ends up lost, damaged, or stolen, Route’s expert support team helps ensure that your order gets replaced or refunded as preferred. Claims will be reviewed for approval within 1-2 business days from filing. Pictures are required for damaged orders.

How Does Route Process Refunds or Reorders?

Refunds: When refunding an item, Route covers the subtotal of the order. 

Reorders: Route will reorder the items, depending on in-stock availability. Unavailable items will be refunded. Route will cover the cost of any reorders including shipping and taxes

Is Route a Licensed Insurance Company?

While Route itself is not an insurance company, Route provides access to shipping insurance. It does this through its entity, Safe Order Solutions, which is licensed to sell the shipping insurance issued by Seg Insurance Ltd. This makes Route's Protect product legal and compliant for brands to offer as shipping insurance to their customers.
