Marcus and Cara Pitts of San Antonio were on a mission to provide healthier meals for Cara's grandmother when they started Southern Roots Vegan Bakery (SRVB). Driven by their plant-based lifestyle, the couple crafted gourmet vegan donuts that were loved by everyone, including Grandma Mary Lee. The couple took their desserts to the children's ministry at their church, which propelled them into bigger opportunities like farmers' markets and exposure with Social Media Influencer Tabitha Brown.
