Let’s make some vegan frosting!
Do you think frosting is the best part of a cake? We think so - especially Marcus! We love to make a fluffy icing for our moist and yummy cakes! Of course, you can top all of your favorite baked goods, including cupcakes and cookies, with a swath of decadent but nearly guilt-free frosting. Store-bought frosting is good and all, but did you know it's actually super easy to make your own right at home? So let's make a quick and delicious chocolate frosting together!
Vegan Chocolate Frosting
• 1 Cup Softened Vegan Butter (use your favorite brand)
• 1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder (you can sift if needed, but not necessary)
• 4 Cups Powdered Sugar
• 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
• 3-4 Tablespoons Non-Dairy Milk (use your favorite brand
Mix together your vegan butter and cocoa powder in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in vanilla and powdered sugar, then mix with your mixer at mid-speed until your frosting reaches your ideal consistency. You will see the frosting fluff up right before your eyes!
