People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals or PETA recently told us they are choosing Southern Roots Vegan Bakery's Sweet Potato Pie as one of the Top 10 vegan pies in the country! 

PETA is the largest animal rights organization in the world, and has more than 9 million members and supporters globally. PETA focuses on four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: in laboratories, in the food industry, in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment business.

What makes this nomination even more newsworthy is that we just launched our pie category for the fall season.
